This policy explains what we store on your device when you use the Train with Ky website and coaching app, and why. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
We only use storage that is strictly necessary to run the service. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or cross-site profiling. Because everything listed here is essential to deliver a service you have asked for, no consent banner is required under PECR; you can still clear it at any time from your browser settings.

Sign-in uses a token stored in your browser's local storage rather than a traditional cookie. It is required to keep you signed in and is removed when you sign out. Signing in with Google redirects you briefly to Google, which may set its own cookies under its own policy.
Google Sign-In is offered as a login option. The public website shows Google reviews retrieved server-side through the Google Places API; that request happens on our servers, so your browser does not contact Google when reviews are displayed.
Payments are handled by Stripe, which sets fraud-prevention cookies during checkout. Nutrition lookups (FatSecret, USDA, Open Food Facts) and AI meal recognition run server-side. A full list of the companies that process data on our behalf is in the Privacy Policy.
We do not currently run analytics or advertising trackers. If we introduce analytics in future, we will ask for your consent first and update this page before any non-essential cookie is set.
You can clear cookies, local storage and caches from your browser settings, and disable notifications from your device settings or the app's Settings → Notifications screen. Clearing storage will sign you out. Deleting your account from Settings → Privacy & Security removes your push registration entirely.
